  This wonderful book is a treat that I cannot recommend highly enough. Barbara Kingsolver's ability to speak in the different voices of her characters is both convincing and compelling. Her subject matter is challenging but her ability to be sympathetic to even the must prickly personalities is a revelation. A fascinating read at this time, in light of recent developments in the Democratice Republic of Congo and our changing world order. Buy 3 copies because you'll want to share this one!
