Borders (UK) strives hard to ensure our customers get the best books, music, films and informational products and services. As such we ensure our partnerships are valuable to our customers and add to the in store experience.
Below are details of our current partnerships.
PaperchasePaperchase is the undisputed retail brand leader in design led and
innovative stationery in the UK.
They have been trading for over 30 years nationwide and have concessions in all Borders stores.
Starbucks Starbucks Coffee Company is the leading retailer, roaster and brand of specialty coffee in the world.
They are committed to offering their customers the world's best coffee and the finest coffee experience - while also conducting their business in ways that produce social, environmental and economic benefits for the communities in which they do business.
The layout and atmosphere of Starbucks stores is specifically designed to be cosy and intimate, while at the same time providing people with their own personal space to use as they wish. The combination of sofas, armchairs, coffee tables and chairs, bars and stools and meeting room tables means that there is something for everyone.
The Starbucks and Borders relationship aims to provide a unique environment that encourages consumers to relax in-store whether its browsing for books with a coffee or sat in Starbucks with their favourite beverage reviewing their finds.
Please visit our website for more information or pop in to one of our stores and enjoy great coffee.
Borders are proud to work in partnership with the National Literacy Trust (NLT), an independent charity that changes lives through literacy.
Since 1998, we have worked with the NLT to inspire children across the UK. We hold special reading events for local schools in selected stores as part of the NLT's Reading Is Fundamental, UK initiative. These events focus on the fun of reading, generating enthusiasm about books and stories and giving children the chance to choose free books to keep. So far, Borders and the NLT have given more than 52,000 books to over 17,000 children.
