Up to 20 authors will be attending this year's Dundee Literary Festival next month.
The festival has proved so popular that organisers have doubled it to four days in order to include all the events and speakers that have been lined up.
Co-sponsored by Borders the packed programme includes internationally acclaimed authors such as Ian Rankin, William Boyd and James Kelman.
Fashion designer, Vivienne Westwood will also attend the event and will entertain with a reading from Manifesto which takes a wry look at life in the 21st century.
Fans of the crime genre have the opportunity to ask award winning writer Sophie Hannah questions or put their queries to a discussion board dedicated to female authors who work in the genre.
Children writers will also be putting in an appearance including Joan Lingard and Colin Bateman.
Budding novelist can choose to pick up tips from new writers such as Nicholas Hogg writer of Show Me the Sky.
The festival is in its second year and is running from June 19 to the 22nd.
