Madonna's brother Christopher Ciccone's new tell-all book is set to come out at the worst time imaginable for the singer.
Life With My Sister Madonna is due to come out on Tuesday and is set to reveal intimate details about the 49-year-old pop star.
Madonna is currently trying to fend off rumours that she is preparing to divorce husband Guy Ritchie, as well as standing accused of being responsible for the marriage break-up of baseball player Alex Rodriguez and his wife Cynthia.
Ciccone has worked with his older sister in the past and he designed and directed her Girlie Show tour in 1993 as well as serving as artistic director on her 1991 documentary, Madonna: Truth or Dare.
However he admits that their close bond has now been destroyed.
Madonna's representative, Liz Rosenberg, commented: "I would have to assume she has come to terms with the fact that they do not have a close and loving relationship.
"And with the book coming out, I assume that will remove the chances of that ever happening."
