Steven Spielberg has revealed his aim to begin work on a movie featuring Abraham Lincoln.
The legendary filmmaker plans to start the project in 2009 following the production of TinTin. Mr Spielberg was inspired to make the Lincoln biopic in 2009 because of the significance of the year.
"I want to start Lincoln in early 2009, because it's Lincoln's 200th anniversary," said Mr Spielberg.
Liam Neeson has been rumoured to star as the president in the biopic. He has previously worked with Mr Spielberg in Schindler's list which won seven Oscars following its release in 1993.
Mr Spielberg's latest movie that will hit the screens is Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
It is the fourth film featuring the intrepid adventurer who this time is pitted against Soviet Union agents in a race to claim a priceless artefact.
The film has its premier at the Cannes Film Festival on May 18th.
