Madonna tour dates revealed

Madonna is launching her next tour at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium this summer.

The Sticky and Sweet tour will see the singer performing in Europe before she heads off to the US.

Madonna is booked to play in Cardiff on August 23rd and then continues the European leg of the tour in France. She returns to the UK on September 11th to play at London's Wembley Stadium.

The singer is scheduled to perform at 27 venues as part of the promotion for her Hard Candy album which stormed into the charts at number one recently.

Hard Candy features her collaboration with Justin Timberlake entitled 4 minutes. This number one hit saw her break her own record for the female artist with the highest amount of chart toppers which now stands at 13.

Madonna is second only to the Beatles who had 15 number one hits. Elvis is in third place with 11 of his songs making it to first position in the charts.
